The idea for this mirror came from a commission we received to design several bronze and aluminium parts for a well-known Parisian perfumer. The entire studio was planned from scratch by architects and interior designers, we focused on the details. The result was customised door and wardrobe handles, door thresholds and a large mirror that resembles this one.
The starting point for our design was the small mirror previously designed for Aesop. We wanted to show the character of the casting in the frame of the mirror. The back is finished with a highly polished surface to project a light golden shimmer on the wall.
