The concept of ‘fire-as-element’ to direct the design process. We wanted to show the variety of what‘s possible to achieve when making glass forms with fabric molds as well as the innovation in both shape and material, displayed as a big group of objects. The manipulation of the surface plays with the unexpected.
The used fabric bags can be used several times, if they are too loose the leftovers can be used for another work such as small objects. Designed to a certain point, but the final result was influenced by the glassmaker, the heat of the glass and the behavior of the fabric.
Second part of a installation for COS in Berlin. Discover a series of hand-blown glass forms, crafted exclusively for this pop-up space. The installation was displayed in Berlin Kurfürstendamm 217. The objects where shown outside the store in the display case and overall in the store. At night the glass was hlighted by spots to make the installation accessible 24/7.
